The HydroKNIGHT Winter close service plan includes:

1. Clean debris off your summer cover and put the cover away.
2. Backwash and rinse pool sand filter.
3. Turn off pool heater and drain down.
4. Drain filter and pool pump.
5. Check the condition of the media inside the filter.
6. Drain pool plant pipework.
7. Turn the frost heater on, if one is fitted.
8. Remove any portable pool steps.
9. Remove skimmer baskets.
10. Vacuum pool floor and walls with our portable vacuum until water level drops about 2-3 inches below the skimmers.
11. Complete our chemical water balance test.
12. Add chemicals as needed from the results of the water balance test.
13. Add winter algaecide and chlorine shock.
14. Add floats to pool. This will prevent surface water freezing.
15. Put your winter cover on the pool.
